Ninja Joe @ Sunway Pyramid

Ninja Joe is an original Japanese concept through out Klang Valley for the fast food services. What are the different compare to the rest of fast food retailing franchising was the meat that they're using. Ninja Joe selling Pork Burger. You hear me? It's Porky burgers!! Yah, rarely we can have pork burgers in our fast food chain beside, chicken, beef and fillets. It's NON-HALAL post over here.
Self service at Ninja Joe

First main branch located at Tropicana City Mall, second branches would be Sunway Pyramid and third will be at Mid Valley. Opted for second in Sunway Pyramid because it's nearer to my place. As soon I came down from upper car park zone, Ninja Joe located in between T-Bowl Concept and TGIF. It's easy to spot, it's locate at the highest level in Pyramid.

Spacious seating area

First timer here, quite spacious the shop and it's slightly empty with people. Weekdays rather slow a bit, but I find quite peaceful to enjoy my porky burgers without any noise pollution. What to eat? Too many choices, the waiter recommended the best seller for me to try out. Everything here is self service, order, pay and select your seats.

Porky sets

Friend crafted for "The Big Boss" at [RM8.50] has pork patty, a fried egg, onion slices, lettuce and tomato slice in between buns. You can opt to add bacon for [RM1.00] and cheese for [RM1.00]. Satisfy with size of the burger plus fries and drink, easily make you go bloated.

Ninja Joe Golden Brown Fries

I opted "The Brucely" at [RM9.90] which are my favorite, difference is instead of pork patty, this burger has a slice of pork chop, tomato slice and lettuce. Again one can opt for the extra bacon and cheese with the addition of [RM1.00] each. Even though it's a piece of pork chop, rest assure that it's very tender and juicy.

Burgers with drinks, Delicious~

For all pork burger orders, just pay an extra of [RM3.90] for the set that would include a cold drink and fries. I opted for Mountain Dew soft drinks, something different compare to the rest which are normally Pepsi, Coke, Sprite, etc. Enjoying their fries, golden brown color. They do have loyalty card for everyone, make sure you get it stamp when you purchased your burgers to enjoy additional rewards.

And here's goes the bill. I'm surprised it's TAX FREE over here. Pork lover? Come try it out yourself today!! A porky place to be.. Do follow them at social networking such as Facebook and Twitters for more updates. =D

The Hungry Hog @ Ss15 Subang Jaya

This my second version back to blog again about The Hungry Hog. This time they launched new dishes which tempted me to try it out. I'm so excited to try their food, every time going towards weekend are all fully booked. I'm smart dropped by after work for dinner during weekdays rather than weekend. And as I promised in previous episode, Here's some different food that I tasted at the Hog store.

The Hog

The new menu available on 4-Sept-12 on wards, lot's of update here, do check out on their latest menu. "The Full English" at [RM21.90] came with 2 sausages, 2 eggs sunny side up, bacon, grilled toms, mushrooms, beans, toast. I damn love the sausages and bacon. Grilled nicely, just at the right taste, not too salty and meats are chewy and delicious. I love to wrapped bacon onto sausages that makes it become pig into blanket, the best is to eat with hands. Runny eggs yolks looks perfect with toms and beans. Bloated after finished up everything. So far the best English breakfast I tasted before!! xD

"The Full English" at [RM21.90]

Next up was the Bangers & Mash at [RM15.90] came with 2 sausages, onion gravy, mash, salad. When I looked at it at first it doesn't look too appetizing inside the picture, surprisingly this is one of the best sausages I've ever had. The sausages are home made basis, because I found it's actually minced meat wrapped into tube, and it's became sausages at last. It tasted different from most of they sausages I had before especially beef or chicken sausages. Since there's are pork sausages in Malaysia, you can count on it!! Thumbs up I would said. Just sausages wouldn't be complete without mashed potatoes. I love mashed potatoes goes with onions gravy that makes the dish completely perfect!! I enjoyed every bite of the sausages =D

 Bangers & Mash at [RM15.90]

Plain Jane at [RM12.90] came with pork patty, cheese. I love the melting cheese on top, giving it a nice savory and creamy texture, plus juicy on the pork patty. I'm afraid the burger won't make me full, but it's too far to judge it. Surprisingly I'm bloated with the burger!! Perhaps it could be the thick pork patty with creamy cheese plus the breads that make me full!! Hardly can finish up the fries but I love it,  golden brown colors, crunchy yet crispy garnished with little bit of salt. Delicious!! xD

The thick pork patty with creamy cheese

Friend ordered this Pork Goulash at [RM18.90] came with stewed pork shoulder with paprika, tomatoes, bell peppers. Served with mash. First he thought it's spicy when waiter served it. After tasted gravy only found out ti's tomatoes with bell peppers. I understand it's a slowly cooked process, a few hours till meat is tender and soft. Most important is it's less fats filling with meats combines everything that make your stomach full. Something different compare to Chinese Style of Goulash. I believe this Hungarian style concept. Recommended to try if you're fan of Goulash. He loves it, how about you? ^_^

Pork Goulash at [RM18.90]

Lastly dish was the Phad Khao Muu at [RM10.90] came with spicy Thai minced pork with basil, rice, egg sunny side up. It's another rice based dish with minced pork and basil. First of all I'm not aware of the spicy level till the more I eat the more hot I am. If you like chilies, challenge this dish. Make sure you ready with your tissue paper, you get sweating non stop, and burning your tongue!! I love the hint of spiciness chilies inside this dish. Try it yourself. xD

Phad Khao Muu at [RM10.90]

The only thing I left was the desserts. Wanted to try Bacon Gelato but it's over bloated with those yummy food. Should be back another round to try it out!! Seriously I love to eat here, because their shop it's clean and awarded Rank A in cleanness. =D

I'm surprised to receive Starbucks moon cakes from Jessica, younger sis. Thank you!! She bought two which were Tiramisu and Caramel Macchiato. Had chance to try Tiramisu flavor 1/8 pieces, the taste was obviously TOO SWEET for tiramisu!! Can get diabetic though. Did not manage to finish it. Western base moon cake style just like you're drinking a cup of coffee. It's nice to eat, but not my cup of tea. Probably a cup of Starbucks coffee would be good for me ^_^

Agar-agar Moon Cakes

Crystal with Pineapple Paste Moon Cakes

Yam with Red Beans Paste

Next moving up to Agar-agar a.k.a Puding Jelly moon cakes. Brother bought it home. It was a home made moon cakes from his lady boss. Beautifully printed moon cakes moles looks shining and solid. Wondering how did they make agar agar moon cakes. First time ever tasted agar agar moon cakes, beside snow skin. Store it cool in refrigerator cut it, just like eating ice-cream. Two flavors, yam with red beans paste and crystal with pineapple paste that tasted delicious. Just nice the quantity of sweetness. Do you like moon cakes? Happy Mid Autumn ^_^

Being labelled as healthy dietary, Medifoods located in Ss18 Subang Jaya serve varieties of organic health food from their own groceries.

Medifoods Organic Health Restaurant

It's easy to find, just towards the end row of shop lot, exactly same row with restaurant JM Bariani House. Normally peak hours like lunch time or dinner time will be crowded with people. Make sure you be early to get a place to seat. What attracted me, not just food but Medifoods landscaped beautifully with green leaves on covered roof garden. You can choose to sit inside with air conditioner area or seating outside covered roof garden.

Medifoods located in Ss18 Subang Jaya

It's also act as grocery shop selling wet and dry organic food such as fresh organic vegetables, fruits, cereals at affordable price. Without delay, I placed my order on the menu. They come with sets where by a meal with soup and fruits. Organic soup filling with vegetables and fresh organic papaya. Purely 100% organic.

Healthy & Organic Dishes

Organic soup filling with vegetables and fresh organic papaya

I had organic Hakka Lui Cha in this shop. Before ordered I been thinking twice, I hate to eat Hakka Lui Cha because of the green tea stink with green chlorophyll that cause the whole meal bitterness at the end hard to eat. Waitress convincing me, to try it. Authentic, big portion which only [RM11.90] nine colorful types of organic vegetables served with small brown rice. Green tea was decent flavor by pass chlorophyll perhaps organic that makes the different in between. Recommended to try it out.

Organic Hakka Lui Cha [RM11.90]

Next was the organic Bolognese Mushroom Spaghetti [RM12.90]. Shredded with fine chopped mushroom filling with tomato gravy that makes everything perfect. Big portion sweet and sour, spaghetti well cooked. Delicious and healthy in a way.

DIY Soto Mee

On the lazy Sunday, when I'm at home, I like cook my favorite Soto Mee from Indo Mee. Basically it's Maggie mee that I been craving long long time ago. Yeah, you might laughing at me for eating for eating this simple meal. Honestly, I prefer crafting myself than eating outside. It doesn't need to take long time to cook, just some patient time to do this. My all time favorite, black pepper sausages, luncheon meats, an egg plus cabbages dumb everything inside or if you like, you can fry all meats before dumb inside, so meats will be fragnant before you eat. See, simple that make this dish that make everything perfect. Yum yum!! xD

DIY Soto Mee

I knew it's unhealthy to eat Maggie Mee, but sometimes can't resist to have it. I'm controlling on the seasoning part, everything come into moderation not too much nor too little. Of all I been hearing Maggie Mee is cheap meal, I think no longer cheap nowdays when outside charging would be slightly expensive, quite less opted for Maggie mee outside. I love love dried Maggie Mee as well, packing from Indo Mee always my favorite. How about you? Do you eat Maggie Mee? What is your favorite craving? ^_^

KungFu Paradise @ Paradigm Mall

Here I am into KungFu Paradise for lunch during promotion period. Been quite sometime since Paradigm Mall opening, did not turn myself into this restaurant not until suggested by some of my friends. Kungfu Paradise with the nick name "the cafe with a kick" that serve Hong Kong food. The concept base almost same like Kim Gary Cafe or Wong Kok Cafe. Located in Level 2 at Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya Malaysia.

KungFu Paradise at Paradigm Mall

Comfortable and spacious for dining

We opted for set lunch, which included a meal add on RM2 to enjoy a soup and a drink. KungFu Paradise coffee and Apple Ice Tea for our drinks. The normal ordinary drinks accompany us through out the meal. They do have other beverages like milkshakes, coffee, teas etc

Coffee and Apple Ice Tea

Now here come the signature dish must have while you're in KungFu Paradise. "KungFu Bumger" at [RM7.20], a sandwich of chicken thigh with terayaki sauce or you can called it Kung Pao sauce. The size of the KungFu Bumger very similar to McD GCB, recommended to try if you're bored with GCB. Grilled and tasted good, just enough for me.

KungFu Bumger [RM7.20]

A sandwich of chicken thigh with Terayaki Sauce

Yum Yum!!

Next was the Dry Noodles with Egg and Chicken Sausages at [RM11.90]. This dish reminded me of Indo Mee, I think youngster might enjoy this meal. Fat and short sausages looks cute and chewy.

Dry Noodles with Egg and Chicken Sausages [RM11.90]

Sames goes to Dry noodles with Egg and Chicken Chop at [RM12.90] Friend commented just average, slightly expensive for this dish. Pork shop a bit, and I believe home cook that is even much better for than this.

Dry noodles with Egg and Chicken Chop [RM12.90]

Seafood Hor Fun [RM13.90] fried Hor Fun with thick seafood broth soup mixed with eggs. Filling with sea food such as prawns, crab meats, fillet and chicken meats. Yet, lack of taste which a bit tasteless. Should improve more on the taste for this dish.

Seafood Hor Fun [RM13.90]

Lastly was the Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice [RM12.90]. Filling with ingredients, chicken with sweet and sour sauce. I believe sweet and sour opening up flavor when eating. There's suppose a lava egg over here, since my friend it's not fancy of eating it, she excluded the lava egg.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice [RM12.90]

It was average food at best and I hope Kungfu Paradise will work towards improving their quality of food especially with the higher than average prices as compared to other Hong Kong style cafes such as Kim Gary or Wong kok Cafe style.

New notes MYR

I think it's been some time Bank Negara been releasing new coins and new note for MYR. Just wondering did you guys collect it? Nowadays is like a trend, been seeing a lots friends posting in social networks especially facebook, twitter, instagram etc. Some of my friend changing in bank once they released it. For myself, I do not really collect it, it's so happen buying things they give me the remaining balance some of them are new coins or new notes so I decided to keep a set for myself as memory. Yeah, I know it's crap to collect it, the curiosity to know how the new coins and new notes look like attracted me that much.

New Vs Old coins

The first batch of new coins released first, once I got new coins, "ARRRGGGHHH..." like that ar? So light and so fake geh? And the size serious reducing a lot comparing with the old want. The metal of the weight are more lightly heavy and solid compare to the newer version. Every time cashier always misunderstood between the size and colors while giving me back the correct balance. What do you think? Do face the same problem too?

New MYR notes

The second batch of new notes released later, I have difficulty in collecting RM20 new notes and RM100 new notes. The rest are easy. First the RM20 and RM10 notes color slightly same colors, often people confusing in between the colors. And my friends do complaining about RM1 and RM5 notes sticky, hard to count piece by piece. Some Chinese belivers even said newer version MYR notes looks like Chinese burning hell notes. What do think?? Any comments? ^_^

Mr. Wish @ Sunway Pyramid

Meeting friends for tea breaks one of the weekends right after we shop at Sunway Pyramid.  Few hours of shopping, everyone feels thirsty, want some cold beverages to sooth our throats. Suddenly saw this Mr.Wish in front of us. Front the main shop it's looks bubble teas to me, just like those Cha Time, Gong Cha, Yo-Fresh, etc. What makes the different in this Mr.Wish?

Mr. Wish Malaysia - 水果‧天然‧茶

List of all the Mr. Wish Series

Closer view, found out that Mr.Wish is another company that sells Taiwanese Tea beverages. Their products focusing more Fruit Tea rather than Milk Tea or Bubble Tea. This is unique part slightly different from others. Varieties products are available such as Wish Tea, Wish Fruit Tea, Wish Milky, Wish Agar, Wish Juice, Wish Popo, Wish Panna Cotta, Wish Ice-Blended, Wish Enzyme, etc.

On going promotion via T&C

Most of the product are tea base, everything are natural ingredients which are harvested freshly from Nantou farm. Bored of bubble teas, decided to give a try on this. No idea what is good, waitress recommended us to go for Fruit Tea Series, since is on going promotions available now.

Tea Time Break with Mr.Wish ^_^

Left: 抹茶奶茶 - Matcha Milk Tea [R] RM4.90 / [L] RM5.90
Right: 水蜜桃果粒茶 - Peach Tea with Fresh Pulp [R] RM5.90 / [L] RM6.90

We bought two large fruit tea base which are Peach Tea with Fresh Pulp [L] at [RM6.90] and Grape Tea with Fresh Pulp [L] at [RM6.90] Double up bonus you're have loyalty card. Aside we also give a try on Milky Series which is Matcha Milk Tea [R] at [RM4.90]

葡萄果粒茶 - Grape Tea with Fresh Pulp
[R] RM5.90 / [L] RM6.90

Personally I love this is grape drink with pulp, fruity flavor especially grape juice it's inside. I'm particular in the first place, Grape juice sort of sour in my mind, after I tried it, eh's it not sour mixed with tea just like you're drinking fruit punch plus I like pulp rather than chewing pearl. Refreshing and cooling fruity flavor unique in a way.

Mr. Wish Loyalty Card Stamp

Sounds good??

Milky Series not bad either. Matcha Milk Tea using fresh Matcha with no additives. Tasted the real Matcha, freshness of the green tea. The normal process, can either reduce sugar level or ice level too or you can even add topping such as Pearls, Ai Yu, Basil Seeds, Coconut Jelly, Pudding, Grass Jelly, etc onto the your milk tea at RM1.

Everyone are enjoying Mr. Wish ^_^

Mr.Wish not that famous as Chatime or Gong Cha, but their main focus is on healthy drinks likes fresh tea and fresh fruit tea. If you're looking something new, recommended you to visit here. Service level quite good and promotion are not bad either. Girls talking a few hours to finish up our drinks. Cheers!! xD
