Durian Pan Cakes @ Mid Valley

Tagging along with sister into Mid Valley Mega Mall for Mega Sale, suddenly sister reminded me that this place there's a kiosk which is selling Durian Pan Cakes. Sister convincing me that the Durian Pan Cake thumbs up, must try. The opportunity is here why not make use of it?

The price of Durian Pan Cakes

At this kiosk within the lower ground floor at Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur [near JJ], it's literally a shrine dedicated to the King of Fruit aka unique fruit with Durian smell. Caution!!! This post only for those Durian Lovers!! =P

Weighted same filing before cooking

Fold it down after placing Durian fillings

Sister was so tempted to try many things over here so I decided to buy a box of Pan Cakes . The pancakes looked good (1 piece for RM3.00, 2 pieces for RM5.50), hence I ordered straight away. Made on the spot when you place your order, they add frozen durian cream [weighted before cooking] within the just cooked pancake, fold it down and hand it to you to in packing box. Since Mid Valley is usually full of people, I had hard time in searching for a place to sit, the best is far away from people. You know Durian smell really stinks!! I believe you can even sense at 3 meters, LOL =P

Recommended to eat once it's cook to remain skin stay fresh

5 pieces [RM12.50]

Recommended to eat once it's cook to remain skin stay fresh and crunchy. Since I take-away, my the pan cake look like above picture. I shared with my family and everyone said thumbs up!! Definitely 100% pure Durian fillings as claimed by them. Delicious~ xD

Sky Village Cafe @ SS15 Subang Jaya

Never know SS15 Subang Jaya got this shop, so happened came across for dinner, both of us drop by, see what they have here. Just beside Baskin-Robbins, Sky Village Cafe offering variety Malaysian food. Their signature dishes will be Homemade Yong Taufu, Reddish Fried Rice & Homemade Rice Wine Chicken.

The Menu

No chance to ask what for the signature dishes, I'm rushing for a quick dinner, so I chosen ready meal indeed. Look on the menu mostly prices for the dishes are reasonable starting from RM6.90++ on wards and drinks are starting from RM2.50++ on wards. Now the points here whether is the food tasted good, let read more below:-

Our drinks ^_^

I have sour plum juice at the price of RM3.50. Something new in this drink where by added popping eggs into your mouth, sweet honey melting in your mouth combines with sour lime that can ease your throat during the hot weathers. Friend had herbal tea at the price of RM3.50 too.

 Rendang Pork Nasi Lemak [RM9.00]

Started with first dishes, friend ordered Rendang Pork Nasi Lemak RM9.90. Cheap? Expensive? Tasted good and moist curry pork to goes with sambal and rice. Friend had little bit disappointing because the food served cold. It should be eaten while it's hot. Other than cold, there's nothing much to complaint about.

Fried Chicken Chop with Mushroom gravy [RM10.90]

I had Fried Chicken Chop with Mushroom gravy RM10.90. Deep fried chicken that makes it crunchy and less oil. I think they do serve too little mushroom gravy. Perhaps I should have requested for more mushroom gravy. Western set came with fun fries and salad.

Shop Ambiance

Shop ambiance rather simple but it's comfortable to dine in with standard facilities excluded WIFI. I saw a lot students like to eat here mainly because it's cheap and it's affordable among students. I think will drop by for their signature dishes in the future.

I had a chance to eat this during whole Ramadan season. I don't feel bored to eat this. Compare with other McD burgers I feel Chicken Fold Over rather healthy because it's grilled instead of deep fry. Huge portion easily make me bloated.

Chicken Fold Over

Grilled Chicken delicious

My favorite McNuggets

McD food for dinner ^_^

Another food I love in McD was the McNuggets. I'm rather choosy in eating nuggets. I still prefer McNuggets products from Mac Food, where by I hear quite difficult to get it from hypermarket. Taste slightly different with market brands. I'm satisfy with McNuggets fried in golden color deep with BBQ Sauce or Sweet and Sour Sauce, definitely crunchy and tasty. How about you? What are your favorite food in McD? =)

Almost 2 years I did not have BKT for breakfast, after the last I had it in Port Dickson. As usual, the normal process of ordering BKT, mixed BKT with boiling soup for 1 person, mixed dried BKT for 1 person and green vegetable with soy sauces.

Heavy breakfast early morning

Waited almost 30min, to get my lovely food. While waiting for food, I'm enjoying the fresh air beside big mountain and the local people such as elderly citizen communicating with local dialects at the same enjoying BKT. This really make me home sick, where recalling of my own hometown. Seriously I do miss my hometown so much.

BKT soup

First dish serve with soup BKT. It's hot and warm tasted the soup, delicious with strong herbs. Inside soup I saw with tau fu pok and mushroom. Meat was tender and moist, I would said not bad though.

Dried BKT

Next was the mixed dried BKT. Sort of spicy because filled with shredded chili padi and long beans. I love the dried BKT with black soy sauces. Opening flavor. Hungry oh, can eat a lot xD

Steam vegetabls

Lastly steamed vegetables with fried onions & oyster sauces, it' healthy and balance out everything. Just meat will be boring right? The bill come to RM24.90. What do you think? Cheap, affordable or expensive? Lastly ended up with hot chinese tea for our drnks, Cheers~ =D
