Alchemist Dessert Café @ SS15 Subang Jaya

Sister came across Instagram, there's a hidden dessert cafe that served Belgian Waffles in SS15 Subang Jaya recently. She is excited to try it out over the weekend and would like to invite me along. She convinced me that this cafe served good food and drinks at the affordable price.

Alchemist Dessert Café @ SS15 Subang Jaya

Without thinking much, we headed over to Alchemist Dessert Café which exactly located opposite Tryst Cafe. If you still not able to find it, try to locate for KFC landmark in SS15 Subang Jaya, slightly behind KFC shop lot.

I really do not have good impression on this cafe at first, till I walked in, cafe well decorated, cozy with ambiance inside (non smoking zone) and outside (smoking zone). Some of the tables are from recycled materials.

Counter for ordering food

I love the counter table highlighted clearly picture of food that served in the cafe beside menu board hanging on the wall. Simple yet straight forward to what I want to order, and the menu are below clearly written on the board..

Menu board clearly posted

Food and drinks are mostly affordable price compare to many of those cafe out there. We quench our thirst Iced Lemon Tea, Iced Honey Lemon Tea. I opted Mojito "Very Berry", satisfied on the throat. I prefered Mojito compared to tea, something different in away. There's also tea, coffee, chocolate drinks available in hot or cold or even frappuccino style.

Cold Honey Lemon RM3.90

Cold Lemon Tea RM3.90

Mojito 'Very Berry' RM3.90

Food can be ordered at the counter via cash only. After order, find a table for seat, food will be serve directly to you on the table. First option sister wanted to order Big Breakfast but it's not available that day. I saw Savory Waffle, wondering how's the taste? Decided to give a try on it.

Savory Waffles topped with scrambled eggs, sausages, salad = RM9.90

My cravings, savory waffles topped with scrambled eggs, sausages, salad. Served hot from kitchen. Surprisingly the food is good! Hot piping waffles perfect together with all the ingredients in the plate It's just like having morning big breakfast. All the taste is at the right amount. I enjoyed eating it without any complaint.

Savory Waffles topped with ham, sauteed mushrooms, salad RM10.90

Another savory waffles for cravings, waffles topped with ham, sauteed mushrooms, salad. Served hot, at the perfect edges. Sauteed mushrooms just at the right taste, well combined balance up the whole package. Do give a try on this.

Lunch / Dinner: Roasted Chicken + Pasta = R14.90

Roasted chicken with pasta suitable for an empty stomach, during lunch or dinner time. I kinda like the roasted chicken infused with varieties of herbs (finger link'in good), pasta rather salty with gravies, portion of serving quite promising.

Comment and feedback

What attracted me was the colorful pad lock, Feel free to leave comment and feedback on the grilled glass door about this dessert cafe, more details check it out with the barista at the counter. Service quite good, as they do serve flavorful Shisha during the night time. I hear they have sweet delightful waffle too, will be back some other time to try it out on our next stop. Accessible FREE WIFI available at this cafe too.
