Kay Riches Cafe & Restaurant @ Citta Mall

Been over to Citta Mall in Ara Damansara for dinner during the weekend with sister. Recommended sis to dine in Kay Riches Cafe & Restaurant. It's been my second time after my first visit here on Nov 2011 for lunch.

I like their in-house design, combination of Western, Chinese and Japanese look. There's a few session which you actually can choose to sit either inside with [air condition] or open air space [smoking zone]. First though of sitting inside but it's rather full, we move on to the balcony area where it's an open air space area. I love the night ambiance rather cooling with ceiling fan and it's romantic for candle light dinner.

The menu was more awesome, varieties of food serve here. You can choose from Western food to Chinese food and to Japanese food, but no Sushi but hey! They have Shabu Shabu ~ That's what a surprise me. Service was quite good here, friendly staffs taking order in quick way. Wifi available here too, it's strong wifi bandwidth here. You can take your time hanging out here, or a good place for yum cha session.

I ordered Tong Yam drumstick with Fried Egg Rice. It's absolutely yummy on the roast chicken. Crunchy, as you cut the meat, less oil marinated with Tong Yam herbs, just nice. The aroma of fried egg combines with the rice which actually mouth watering. Big portion, just nice for me. What I love the most is their sour Asam Tong Yam soup. kicking my taste bud when sipping it. Like to pour the soup on the rice, and eat with it.  Delicious, recommended by meal by this restaurant.

Sis had Sukiyaki with Rice. It's actually Japanese clay pot seafood soup with prawns, white Tau Fu, green leave vegetables and raw egg. Served hot,  I personally enjoying the seafood soup too, big prawns sweeten the soup, goes well together with Japanese rice. I would say not bad after all.

Fight Pimples For Clear Skin

I believe everyone have been spending lots of money just for skin care products that is good quality but yet it's expensive. To maintain good skin it's not easy, and I'm sure every girl's dream is to have good face skin complexion and pimples free. Lot's of products in the market nowadays which actually can help out but I believe different people will have different view on the products. I would like to share it out here, about this facial product which I personally think is a good for skin & it's reasonable price for those individual who have budget. This post are based on my own individual opinions.

Washing face is a daily routine job which everyone, have to use it everyday. Our skin are exposure to sweat, dust, sun burn and dirt through out whole day. Beside that, the most night mare that ladies afraid of is the PIMPLES. Pimples are formed when hair follicles and sebaceous glans are clogged and inflamed. They usually appear on the face, neck, cheek, back shoulders and arms. While the common during puberty, pimples can occur at any age.

There's many cause of pimples, but the most direct of clogging of pores. Clogged hair  follicles prevent purging of sebum. The resulting lack of oxygen accelerates bacterial growth in hair follicles, triggering an attack by the immune system. This causes reddening and swelling that characterizes pimples. Factors contributing to pimples growth include air pollution, irregular lifestyles, emotions, stress diet, dimate and medication. Generally, there are three types of pimples which are pimples caused by sensitivity to environmental factors, stress-induced pimples or pimples due to hormonal changes.

To be free from pimples, it is important to boost skin regeneration and keep skin clean. Skin regenerates regularly, with skin cells forming, aging and sloughing off. Gently removing dead skin can accelerate skin regeneration, preventing aged cells from clogging pores and avoiding pimple formation. At the same time, skin texture is improved, helping to heal skin tissues damaged by pimples. UV protection defends skin from sun damage and resulting pimples. Hence, daily skin care with suitable products can help to maintain skin's health to defend against pimples. Accelerating skin regeneration keeps pores from clogging and forming pimples and aids healing.

Day 1: Part V - Kopi Luwak @ Bali

After lunch, we heading down to Coffee Maker & Plantation, Bali. According to tour guide this plantation is very special because he taking us to visit "Kopi dibuat daripada Musang tinja". "What? Coffee made from Poo Poo?" have I hear wrongly?

This is my very first time in visiting coffee plantation and i'm excited. Slightly it's about 30min drive from Mount Batur. Weather is slightly warmer here, l can see the sunlight here not too bad though. As we reached  here, lot's of tourist bus here and private vehicle visiting this place. Welcoming us at the entrance are the local Balinese people. I'm not sure if this place needed entrance fees, can't recall it.

Bali Kopi Luwak is made from Balinese Coffee Berries which have passed through the digestive tracts of the Asian Palm Civets (AKA Luwaks). Enzymes in the civet's stomach break down proteins in the coffee berries; specifically those proteins that contribute to coffee's usually bitter taste. A slight roast later, and you have coffee beans without the bitterness, but with a full, sweet taste. The wild civets only select the ripest coffee berries for their diet.  In this way, the berries used for Bali Kopi Luwak have already passed their evolutionary quality control test. This homogenous selection process produces a clean and unique taste.

Day 1: Part IV - Kintamani for lunch @ Bali

We proceeded to Kintamani for buffet lunch, at Mount Batur an active volcano, and Lake Batur, the largest crater lake on Bali island. Kintamani is a highland area in the north of East Bali. There are a large number of identikit buffet restaurants sited on the main road in Kintamani and Penelokan. These are aimed at tour buses. These restaurants offer fantastic views across the lake, and serve all-you-can-eat lunch buffets at acceptable prices.

Kintamani is usually approached from the south with 2 routes in from Ubud (45 minutes), and one each from Besakih (1 hour) and Bangli (30 minutes). There is also an easy way in from the north via a turning off the coast road east of Singaraja (1 hour). All private vehicles pay entry charge to get into the area of Rp 10,000 per person. Keep the ticket as this is valid for the whole Kintamani area, and you may be asked to show it again. From the popular tourist destinations in South Bali, a trip to Kintamani by car will take 90 min plus.

Mount Batur

Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung, Bali, Indonesia. First photo snapping immediately after I arrived!! Taking good snap of the volcano! It's beautiful! xD

Mount Batur blur vision by mist

This is second short after 5min of snapping. Weather is so uncertain here. Cloudly it's going to rain anytime! Once raining the volcano covered by heavy mist, so I don't want to miss the opportunity. Capture the best moment before I take my lunch! =)

Family photo

Relax place for food

Here we are for lunch! I love the beautiful scenery plus the cold weather here. Can you image is more colder than Genting Highlands. We're high in the mountains of Bali here and the temperature is usually about 15 degrees cooler than down on the coast, and even more so at night. That, coupled with the often cloudy and drizzly weather, makes a sweater or jacket advisable in the day time and vital after sunset.

Well decorated

Salad / Ulam

Fried mee, rice, etc

Banana pancake coated with kelapa parut

Vegetable salad

tempeh, taufu, eggs, fried keropok for food

Buffet time, consisting of local Balinese food. eat-all-you-can. From appetizer, main course till desserts. not forgetting juices, coffee & tea were served here too. Hungry when I saw the food. can't help myself to try it out all the local food. Mainly tourist places here, can see varieties type tourist walking in and out there.

Everyone enjoying food

My favorite ^_^

See the dishes here? The most I like is their meat satay with lemon grass stick. The aroma of lemon grass covered the meat odor given herb smell into it. Aside Indonesian famous with nasi campur, means nasi mixed with mee mixed it well eating together. Fried popiah was good too.

After the rain ^_^

Satisfied with food, walked outside for photo snapping immediately after rain while waiting the rest to finish up their food. I can't see the volcano anymore. Heavy covered by mist. It's cold i'm with short pants and short sleeve shirt, plus shivering too!!

Kintamani is the pushy souvenir hawker capital of Bali. They will surely target you the moment you arrive and try to admire the view. If you are confident handling the haggling with these vendors, Kintamani can turn out to be an interesting shopping experience. If you are not, and allow such things to bother you, the level of hassle here can make for an unpleasant experience. Fruit and vegetables. Kintamani is renowned for growing oranges (especially) and other fruit. You will see lots of streetside vendors in this area selling excellent quality freshly picked fruit. The local orange is called Jeruk Kintamani and is delicious. The areas down around the lake (especially on the eastern shore) are market gardens for all sorts of cool climate vegetables.

Before we left a group of family photos, for memories. Enjoying my moments here. Up next moving up to Luwak Coffee stay tune.. ^_^
