Sky Park @ One City Mall USJ 25

I been waiting for One City Mall to open everyday as I always by pass this mall while on the way driving to work daily. First time, I hate the route U-Turning Hicom-Shah Alam up the bridge, I been wondering why must like this. The curiosity to know more about mall really makes me even more and more excited. After the new route been opening, I been waiting everyday from July and Aug 2013. I thought the mall will be opening during Hari Raya but it's yet opening, I made second attempt, hopefully will be opening in December 2013 during Christmas and New Year 2014. Been counting the days, One City officially launched in 12th December, two weeks before the Christmas 2013, developed by MCT Consortium Berhad.

One City mall it's along my neighborhood, which is located in USJ25 Subang Jaya approximately 10 min drive from my home. One of the main attraction ‘The Sky, Sky Dining & Chill Out Hub’ located at 10th floor. Go up via the glass lift! ‘The Sky, Sky Dining & Chill Out Hub’ also claimed as Biggest Rooftop F&B Area by the Malaysia Book of Records." - Quoted from This is Me; Melissa's Blog

The whole mall it's transparent especially the design up to Sky Park. I'm curious how the Sky Park look like, so I pressed the lift button to 10th floor with transparent lift direct to Sky Park. I started to shiver, as I look up towards 10th floor before I enter into transparent lift. It's an express lift carrying you all the up, thus I don't have chance for photo shooting while the lift is moving.

Roof Top Skypark One City

Here I am on the roof top Sky Park One City. As soon I stepped out from the lift, I find it windy all the over place. Fresh air coming from the open roof top, bringing me to the closer view. Beautifully Sakura flowers decorating along the walk path in the conjunction of Chinese New Year festival.

The main selling point on the Roof Top was the tinted glass which is transparent in away when you bend down, you can actually see you're that you're standing in middle top roof. For those who aren't fear of heights, you may want to test yourself by standing on the transparent tinted glass and look down. Beautifully view towards ten-storey drop in an artistic way.

At night view fear me a lot

Facing behind the mall there's and artificial mountain from far, which it's the view of Putra Heights another city town opposite which you can explore in more details and not forgetting the North South Expressway Central Link also known as ELITE or ELITE Expressway (Expressway Lingkaran Tengah), is the main expressway in Malaysia. The 60 km (37 mi) expressway starts from Shah Alam Interchange EXIT 601 until Nilai North Interchange EXIT 612. One City Mall easily connected for the residential conveniences.

Let's get back to front mall, which I actually like so much, roads are actually well connected facing toward HICOM-SHAH ALAM. At night the view it's beautiful for photography session. Photo are below the different in between day view and night view. Recommended to visit during the night time, as the view are beautiful for photography session.

It's worth while to pay a visit here when the parking fees are free at the moment. If you need to get some fresh air, now you don't need fly until Genting so far, at least The Roof Top Skypark at One City allow to have beautiful view during the windy day. Have you ever visit this place yet? Do drop me a comment.. Have a nice day ahead!

The Good Batch @ Damansara Uptown

It's been a while I been stop blogging, I feel like I need to share on my blog with everyone when ever there's always scrumptious food around. Started off with my 2014 blog post with English breakfast that is currently a popular trend in Klang Valley Malaysia. The Good Batch, located in Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya (corner lot restaurant) which same row along with Wondermilk and Fatspoon.

Menu being served immediately, without delayed. Roughly I knew what I want because I did research earlier on the blogs and also went through Facebook page. Coffee been always my favorite, I been served with Caffee Mocha [RM8.90] with a small tiny piece of biscotti. The coffee was competent but it's not an outstanding,  yet it's not up to my level of expectation.

The Norwegian [RM20.90] served with a pair of perfectly poached eggs and lemon Hollandaise on lightly toasted. Given a first bite, I find the salmon was too thick a very mild fishy smell. The creativity of house-made lemon Hollandaise sauce catered to cover the salmon smell. Overall it's good, but I find it taste a bit bland, compared to Plan B Avo Quinoa.

Another dish I tried out was the Hangover Mess [RM20.90], served with corned beef mixed witb pan-fried potatoes and diced capsicums, topped with two sunny side-up, drizzed with herbs Hollandaise. If you're beef lover I must said you will like this dish well, well prepared plus I find it a little bit oily. The portion was just enough for small eaters. It's meant to be messy for this dish, you need extra tissues to wipe your mouth after finishing it.

I enjoyed the cozy environment, definitely not during large crowd, without peace of mind, lot's of noise especially during night time yum cha session. Everyone been early talking and sharing loudly. Hardly I can hear when my friends communicating with me. There's still a lot more explore in The Good Batch, On an average, each main dish costs RM20 above per main dish, I believe there's room for improvement in the future. Free WIFI available too, do visit this place if you're looking for English breakfast.
